College Football Campaign Ad 5

This was the fifth installment in a recurring College Football digital ad series I designed during my internship, following an established visual system and content structure.

Brief & Objective
The creative direction required a specific typographic treatment where the word “home” would be visually crossed out and replaced with “your bar,” emphasizing a shift in game-day viewing culture. I was responsible for translating this concept into a clear, visually engaging ad that aligned with the existing campaign style.

Design Process
I explored multiple compositional approaches to integrate the concept more dynamically, testing different ways of visually striking through and replacing the word while maintaining readability and hierarchy. However, these iterations began to create inconsistency with the established campaign branding and risked reducing clarity within the tight digital format.

Decision-Making & Constraints
Given the production timeline at the end of my internship, I prioritized delivering a polished, on-brand asset within the existing system rather than introducing a new experimental direction that would require additional iteration time. I made a deliberate decision to align closely with the established design framework to ensure consistency across the campaign and meet the deadline without compromising execution quality.

Outcome
The final ad maintained visual consistency with the broader College Football campaign while clearly communicating the intended message within platform constraints and production deadlines. The project reinforced the importance of balancing creative exploration with efficiency and brand consistency in fast-paced production environments.
