Spring Recruitment 2026

Drexel Clubs

As part of an ongoing role leading recruitment design for SigEp, I developed a spring campaign concept based on a Miami Vice theme, selected through a chapter-wide vote. This marked my ninth recruitment campaign, building on five years of experience creating branded materials for the organization.

Process & Approach I began by translating the Miami Vice aesthetic into a cohesive visual system that could function across wearable merchandise and digital promotion. This included:

  • Researching the original Miami Vice branding and 1980s synthwave design trends
  • Extracting key visual elements such as neon color palettes, high-contrast gradients, and retro typography
  • Iterating on color combinations and layouts to ensure readability and scalability across formats

Design Execution The final design emphasizes bold, vibrant colors and clean geometric forms to reflect the energetic, social tone of spring recruitment. I incorporated stylized typography inspired by the original logo while adapting it for modern legibility and print use. Additional visual elements—such as neon accents and retro motifs—help reinforce the 1980s aesthetic while maintaining a polished, contemporary feel.

Outcome The design was used across recruitment materials and apparel, helping establish a cohesive and recognizable visual identity for the campaign. Its bright, approachable tone aligned with the chapter’s goal of creating an inviting and engaging recruitment experience.
